FAQ

Questions? Answers.

Does an MLA paper need a title page?
No — unless your instructor asks for one. Put your name, your instructor’s name, the course and the date at the top left of page one, double-spaced, then the title centred.
What goes in the MLA header?
Your surname and the page number, top right, half an inch from the top, on every page — for example, Kulkarni 1.
How do I format Works Cited?
Start it on a new page with the heading Works Cited, centred and not bold. Sort the entries A→Z, double-space them and give each a 0.5″ hanging indent.
Should the title be bold?
No. In MLA the title is centred in plain text — not bold, not underlined and not in quotation marks.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Your welcome gift in Redrafty covers a full check of about 2,300 words — no card needed. After that, about $1 covers a full report on ≈ 6,600 words.
Is my paper private?
Yes. Redrafty keeps no copy of your file. Formatting is checked by rules, not by AI, and your paper is never used to train AI. See our Privacy Policy.
