FAQ

Questions? Answers.

Notes and bibliography, or author-date?
Chicago has both. Most humanities papers use notes and bibliography: footnotes in the text and a Bibliography at the end. If your paper has (Author, year) citations but no footnotes, Redrafty points that out.
Does the title page get a page number?
No. The title page counts, but it isn’t numbered — the numbers you see start on the first page of text.
How do I format a Chicago bibliography?
A new page, the heading Bibliography centred, entries A→Z by surname, each with a 0.5″ hanging indent.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Your welcome gift in Redrafty covers a full check of about 2,300 words — no card needed. After that, about $1 covers a full report on ≈ 6,600 words.
Is my paper private?
Yes. Redrafty keeps no copy of your file. Formatting is checked by rules, not by AI, and your paper is never used to train AI. See our Privacy Policy.
